Eligibility
Companies must be based in the SEEDA region. This covers Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Berkshire, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. A company’s ‘base’ is defined as the principal place of business. It is not sufficient for a company simply to register their office in the South East.
An SME is defined as:
- Employing fewer than 250 people
- A maximum annual turnover of €40 million
- A maximum annual balance sheet total of €27 million
- No more than 25% ownership by another company
